The
forward contraction of the racquet by the butt is almost never seen
anywhere except at the professional level. This is a key component
in power tennis in that the racquet must NOT begin
to rotate as it begins its forward advance from the takeback positon.

If
the racquet begins to rotate too early, the stroke becomes uncontrollable.
Additionally, it becomes impossible to get the racquet up to a
speed to have the potential for an 80mph ground stroke.
